The Challenge

When RGM was acquired, the new owners set bold plans to scale 10x, requiring a major overhaul of their delivery and support teams. However, lacking an internal HR team and structured hiring processes made it difficult to meet these growth targets.

To overcome this, RGM needed to build an HR function, recruit top talent for their Media Buying team, and hire skilled Assistants to support Operations and the owners. Without these roles, their ambitious growth strategy was at risk.

The Solution

Working with RGM, we:

a. Assigned a dedicated Delivery Manager and expert recruiters (ex-Marketers, ex-HR) to collaborate with Hiring Managers and enhance passive talent attraction.

b. Developed a focused headhunting strategy, an efficient interview process, and technical assignments for all roles.

c. Advised on best interview practices and performance reviews for new hires.

d. In just 2.5 months (August to November 2023), we made 6 key hires across Marketing, Operations, and Support teams.

With an impressive 85% offer-to-hire conversion rate, our team expanded from supporting 1 Hiring Manager to 3.

The Results

Polyglot helped RGM successfully recruit for five key hard-to-fill roles, including Senior and Medior Media Buyers, a Marketing Automations Specialist, and an Executive Assistant. Polyglot’s recruitment process was efficient, as demonstrated by each role’s low time-to-fill and time-to-hire metrics.

Over the 2.5-month engagement, Polyglot sourced an average of 288 passive candidates per week, including 70 candidates from our internal pre-vetted database, and conducted 30 recruiter screens along with first-round HM screens.

In addition to delivering these hires, Polyglot provided market and compensation research, established interview processes, and consulted hiring managers on best interview practices, ensuring RGM remained competitive and attracted top talent for the long term.

Overall, the partnership with Polyglot enabled RGM to overcome recruitment challenges and build a strong team to support their post-acquisition growth and expansion.
