Working within the UK Production & Broadcasting Industry, they bring a unique blend of rundown and script experts, automation wizards, and experienced operationalists with a hands-on approach to deliver simplified services for such complex matters.

Based in Leuven, Belgium, they strive to make live production easier andbetter for everyone, focusing on esports, sports, news, entertainment, universities, etc., and making their media production app available worldwide. They believe their comprehensive solution provides an all-in-one place for the entire production process.

The Challenge

We collaborated with 4 departments, 2 hiring managers, and 1 Co-founder. During a key period of company expansion to introduce a new product and new features on their platform, the scaling goals were substantial.

We worked with two distinct timeframes: 4 months in the first half of the year and 3 months in the second. Each department, whether it was Tech or Sales, or Marketing had its distinct dynamics and team culture. The key was to find professionals from the TOP 15% to join the company, and passionate team members who’d share Tinkerlist’s vision, and goals plus work well within the team dynamics.

The primary challenge was to recruit mid-level talent and leaders capable of delivering excellent service. The new hires needed to be the perfect fit and be able to onboard quickly.

Meanwhile, we adapt to their internal software and preferred ATS & HR tools to alleviate the hiring managers’ workload.

The Solution

Working with TinkerList, we:

A. Established weekly progress calls, so we can be on top of all internal changes. The product focus was shifting, hence different tech and people skills were predominating.

B. Set a wide GTM research scope: scouted, and contacted 600 SDR/BDR talents, to find and hire 2 Sales Development Representatives with specific niche experience in scaling similar tech products, at at a similar stage.

C. From 1k+ sourced, recommended top qualified candidates for the 3 new team members needed in the tech team, to address the urgent need for them to transition to higher roles down the line, one of them taking on the role of the CTO.

D. Quickly adjusted our way of work to incorporate TinkerList’s internal recruitment process and tools, almost fully adapting it.

The Results

Polyglot successfully hired 2 Remote Business Development Representatives, 1 Senior Frontend Engineer and 1 Lead Frontend Engineer (CTO for new product).

A large number of candidates were also added to TinkerList’s internal Talent Pool. 

The new product was successfully launched, with new features being introduced weekly. As with its initial product, Tinkerlist has also proven to be a success.
