The Challenge

Upraw is a small yet reputable agency that is growing steadily. Hence, they were and still are highly selective with their hires and talent pipelines.

Only the top 1% made it. In 4 rigorous filter stages, with the last one being an exceptional case study assignment delivery, a meeting with the co-founder would be ensured. Once it was clear that the candidate could take full ownership over departments, offers were made instantly.

We were entrusted to grow the senior leadership for Paid Media and Performance Marketing, as well as place top-notch Growth Marketers, Copywriters, and Paid Social Managers. Upon consistent communication with the Hiring Managers, we truly adapted agilely as we went, and with an embedded-recruiter style approach, offer proposals were accepted. Hence, efficient, effective, and value-added results were achieved.

With a consultative approach while assisting with hires, we adapted to their hiring internal software and their preferred ATS, alleviating the hiring managers’ workload and the restructuring growth stage.

The Solution

Working with Upraw Media:

A. We scouted 800+ talents to onboard exceptional new team members to join this small yet established agency. The agency’s high client satisfaction and its leading SaaS marketing podcast, Masters of SaaS, attracted a large number of applicants. However, the selection process remained highly qualitative to ensure the successful scaling continued.

B. We developed a technical assessment in collaboration with the Hiring Managers, and supported the internal interview stage as well. Furthermore, we adjusted our work methods with their internal tools and practices.

C. After assessing and mapping the current delivery needs and future developments, we recommended a different hiring strategy than the one initially proposed. This more effective and efficient proposal was accepted, leading us to opt for 3 senior positions instead of 5.

D. We suggested building a passive talent pipeline as an additional value, accepting that we needed to source 10x the market standard of candidates.
